Chennai one of worlds must see places - says New York Times - ranks 26th


       Chennai has been chosen as one of the worlds must see places by New York Times in its recently released article. It ranks 26 th in the list. Cape Town of South Africa ranks first followed by Christchurch of Newzealand .Niagara Falls in Newyork ranks last.

   Reasons cited

   The article says  Chennai is chosen for the following criteria:

It is a national cultural capital
It has several dance and music schools like Kalakshetra and the Music Academy
It has historic sites like Kapaleeshwarar temple
It has International hotels like Park Hyatt
It has trendy clubs,restaurants and boutiques
